Dr. Lin is a board certified internist. She finished her Internal Medicine Residency from
University of South Alabama in 2007 and has been working as a physician/Hospitalist taking
care of hospitalized patients. She has been working at Gwinnett Medical Center since 2014.
Prior to that, she was an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at Emory University
School of Medicine. She received her MD degree from Qingdao Medical College in China in
1994 and moved to the US for further education. She has a PhD degree in Pharmacology from
Creighton University, did a postdoctoral fellowship in Nutrition Sciences at University of
Alabama at Birmingham, and is licensed to practice acupuncture as a physician acupuncturist.
With the broad knowledge in basic and clinical medical sciences, Dr. Lin believes doctors should
treat each patient as a whole person, not just the diseases.
While working in the acute care hospitals for over a decade, Dr. Lin has treated many sick
patients with various health conditions associated with poor diet, lack of exercise and
preventive care. She advocates on promoting health literacy and healthy lifestyles in general
communities, starting from kids. She has tremendous interest in Childhood education and
health issues, especially since she has two young daughters and her husband is a pediatrician.
